Antilles’ lending programs, including Jamaican American Home Mortgage, are in development and are not yet available. When lending begins, every loan will be subject to a complete application, credit approval, verification of income and assets, property eligibility, an independent valuation, registered title, and the laws of the United States and Jamaica. Terms, rates and eligibility will be set at that time and may change without notice.
Who we are and are not
Antilles Financial Group LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of Florida with its office at 110 E. Broward Blvd., Suite 1700, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301. Antilles is not a bank, savings institution, credit union or deposit taking institution, and deposits are not accepted. Jamaican American Home Mortgage is a program of Antilles Financial Group LLC and not a separate lender.
Jamaica
Antilles does not maintain an office or place of business in Jamaica, is not licensed or regulated by the Bank of Jamaica or the Financial Services Commission of Jamaica, and does not offer loans, deposits or any other financial service to residents of Jamaica. Its lending programs are intended for borrowers who reside in the United States. Mortgages securing its loans are registered on Jamaican title and governed by Jamaican law; all other loan documents are governed by the law of a U.S. state and are executed in the United States. This site is directed to persons in the United States and should not be treated as directed to, or as an offer to, persons in Jamaica.
Equal credit opportunity
When lending begins, Antilles will evaluate every application on the applicant’s creditworthiness and the eligibility of the property. Antilles does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to contract), receipt of income from any public assistance program, or the good faith exercise of any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. Lending to persons of Jamaican origin or descent is a market focus, not a condition of eligibility; any applicant who meets the program’s credit and property requirements may apply when lending begins.
