This notice explains how Antilles Financial Group LLC ("Antilles," "we" or "us") collects, uses and protects information about people who visit this website or write to us. It applies to this site and to the Jamaican American Home Mortgage site. It does not yet cover loan applications, because lending has not begun; the section on applicants and borrowers explains what will apply then.
Information you give us. If you write to us or complete a form on this site, we receive what you send: typically your name, email address, your institution or your state of residence, and the content of your message. The register interest form on the Jamaican American Home Mortgage site asks for name, email, state, the parish and price range you have in mind, your approximate down payment and your timing. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, Social Security numbers, account numbers, identity documents or financial statements through this site or by ordinary email.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including the pages visited, the date and time, the browser type and the internet address of the device. We use essential cookies needed for the site to work. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track visitors across other websites.
To respond to you; to tell you when a program you registered interest in becomes available; to understand which states, parishes and price ranges prospective borrowers are asking about so that we plan properly; to keep the site secure and working; and to meet legal and record keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising by others.
Messages and interest registrations are kept while they are useful for the purposes above and for as long as the law requires, then deleted. If you ask us to remove your registration we will do so, apart from records we must keep for legal reasons.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including encrypted connections to the site and access limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, which is one reason we ask you not to send sensitive financial information through the site.
You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your registration or stop contacting you, by writing to info@antillesfinancial.com. We will respond within 30 days. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights, which we will honor as those laws require.
When lending begins, information collected in a loan application and during the life of a loan will be governed by a separate consumer privacy notice provided with the application, as required of financial institutions under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and its implementing regulation. That notice will describe the categories of information collected, how it is shared with service providers such as the loan servicer, valuers and counsel in Jamaica, and the choices available to applicants. Until then, this site does not collect application information.
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we will delete any such information we learn we have received.
We may update this notice as the business develops; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions or requests: info@antillesfinancial.com, or Antilles Financial Group LLC, 110 E. Broward Blvd., Suite 1700, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. This notice is governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable U.S. federal law. See also our disclosures.
